School Improvement & Accountability

The mission of the School Improvement and Accountability Department is to dramatically improvement and transformation throughout the organization to ensure schools are advancing student outcomes and closing the achievement gap to meet district, state, and federal requirements.

2024 Accountability Ratings Information

Each year, TEA issues ratings for districts and schools across Texas. These ratings are based on student achievement and progress as measured by the STAAR test. The issuance of 2024 A–F ratings remains pending and subject to change based on judicial rulings.
