The mission of the School Improvement and Accountability Department is to dramatically improvement and transformation throughout the organization to ensure schools are advancing student outcomes and closing the achievement gap to meet district, state, and federal requirements.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has announced the 2022 accountability ratings for independent school districts across the state for the first time since 2019.
Each year, TEA issues ratings for districts and schools across Texas. These ratings are based on student achievement and progress as measured by the STAAR test. However, due to COVID-19, schools did not receive ratings for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years.
