Last night, Alief Taylor High School's Girls Basketball team took a play-off victory over Dickinson, in what many considered to be an upset. The Lady Lions created memorable moments from the game including an early battle for the lead, and junior Nataliyah Gray finishing with a triple-double.
A triple-double occurs when a basketball player reaches double digits in at least three different stats during a game. For Gray, those figures were 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 blocks.
Additionally, Trinity Hamilton had 12 rebounds, and Madison Bush-Lewis scored a total of 20 points throughout the game.
Our Lady Lions played their hearts out, and we are tremendously proud of the entire team.
